Corbin Bennett and Ethan DiVito each won multiple matches and took fourth place. Drew Hill battled back from a tough 6-5 opening round loss to win four matches in the consolation bracket to take third place, and Brendan Sheehan came back after a loss in the semi-finals to also take third place.

Brandon DiVito placed second in the K-2 division, with his only loss to an extremely tough wrestler from Billerica. Hayden Conway and Trevor Early each fell one match short of placing on the day.

The team was led by the trio of Justin Kelly, Ryan Meier and Finn Piuze, who all took home the championship. Meier, the 57 pound champion, had a major decision and three pins on the day. Piuze had 2 pins and a decision along the way, where he avenged an early season loss to the wrestler from Dedham. All of the place winners in the 3/4 division now qualify for the New England Tournament, which will be held on March 11 and 12 in Reading.

The 5-8 grade team is in action this Sunday at the sectional tournament.
