Parking ban in effect

Rutland’s winter parking ban is in effect through April 1, prohibiting the parking of any motor vehicle on the street or sidewalk throughout town overnight between 2-6 a.m. and during snow storms when a snow emergency has been declared, regardless of time of day.

The purpose of the parking ban is to assist the town’s Department of Public Works with snow and ice removal operations. The Rutland Police Department is charged with enforcing the winter parking ban.
