Local to compete in Junior Olympic Fencing Championships

Holden resident Andrew DelMastro will be attending the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships in Kansas City, MO the weekend of Feb. 17. DelMastro represents the Worcester Fencing Club where he has fenced for the past eight years. This is his first national event. DelMastro will compete in Cadet (Under-17) men's epee, which he qualified for by placing 2nd in the New England Division qualifier on Nov. 20. Over 1,800 fencers will participate in the championships.
